Junior Golf Centre
Junior Golf Centre was opened by Y.Bhg Dato' M. Junid Yusof on 4th June, 2002. This centre is where our juniors are able to get together and relax. The centre is equipped with a TV and a lot of golf related materials for our juniors to refer to.
To make the opening ceremony a special occasion, we had the Assunta Girls School band to play lively music. An invitation Inter-Club Junior Golf Competition was also organised.
Golf Rules for Children
- Children ( 12 - 18 years ) who had passed KGNS Handicap Test are allowed to:-
- Play on the Kelana Course at all times.
- Play on the Putra Course on weekdays with handicap 24 and below.
- Play on Putra Course on weekends and public holidays with the following conditions:
- Handicap 18 and below.
- Adult member has to come and book the flight for them.
- They must be accompanied by the adult member who booked the flight.
- Children ( 12 - 18 years ) who has not passed KGNS Handicap are allowed to:-
- Play on the Kelana Course on Mondays at all times.
- Play on the Kelana Course on Tuesdays to Fridays, and must tee-off before 4:30pm or after 6:00pm.
- They are not allowed to play on the Kelana Course on weekends and public holidays.
- Children below 12 years:-
- Are allowed to play only on the Kelana Course from Mondays to Fridays ( excluding public holidays ) and must tee-off before 4:30pm or after 6:00pm, 11.30am to 2.30pm on weekends ( excluding public holidays ) and must be accompanied by either the Golf Professional, their parents or adults with valid handicap in their rounds.
- All children below 18 years:-
- Are allowed to play on the Kelana Course accompanied by their parents on weekends and public holidays and must tee-off between 11.30am and 2.30pm ( excluding during competitions ).
- All Children golfers must be properly attired:-
- Rubber shoes or sneakers may be used if they have difficulty in getting golf shoes of their sizes.
NOTE: Children below the age of 18 years are not permitted to ride buggies.
